SAP is pretty large: 77% of the world’s transaction revenue is processed by an SAP system. I worked in their consulting arm, helping clients to integrate SAP software with their businesses. I specialised in data integration, migration, quality, and governance.

I worked with many clients, both in the public and private sectors. Some of them include: Australia Post, the Department of Human Services, Queensland Health, and Origin Energy.

I was brought on by clients to help them scope, plan, and execute data-related projects. Some projects involved the implementation of new systems. On other projects, it was about improving data quality or the governance processes around their existing systems. While part of my work was hands-on and technical, I spent most of my time running workshops with project leadership.
