Bountye is an online marketplace where anyone can buy and sell pre-loved items. The twist is that it’s organised around local communities—people who love old romance novels, techies, vinyl collectors, and more. All nearby. You can even choose to donate the proceeds from sales to local organisations like schools or charities.
I’ve helped Bountye with UI design for a while—sometimes simply reviewing their app and giving advice, other times getting hands-on with wireframing and UI design.
I have worked with Bountye on refining onboarding flows, buying and listing flows, search functionality, messaging, referral features, notifications, and overall navigation. I’ve also faciliated workshops to help them refine their feature set and evolve their visual identity.
During times when the workload exceeded my capacity I continued to collaborate with other freelance designers to provide direction and guidance.
