To deliver a consistently great customer experience, you have to measure it. That’s the simple idea behind Customer Monitor—a platform for gathering feedback from customers. I worked to understand requirements, I designed the UI, and then I dived into the code.
The front-end used a custom-built Javascript framework. Javascript also powered the various graphs and charts used to visualise data.
The back-end handled account management, survey engine integration, scheduling, and subscriptions. It was based on ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.
I completed this project working evenings over several months. It has since operated successfully for six years (with significant further development). It is used by customers across New Zealand and Australia.
